HOW THE ORACLE WORKS
The ancient western tradition of an Oracle was to ask one question and hopefully, receive an answer, often in the form of a riddle.
Holding a clear, simple, question in your mind fan out the cards and allow your intuition to choose one or more of them. Then refer to each tree’s wisdom to receive your answer(s). |

WHAT IS THE OGHAM?
The ancient script of Ogham is an early alphabet system sometimes known now as the ‘Celtic Tree Alphabet’.
It originally contained an alphabet of 20 letters (or Trees) made up of vertical reference lines or trunk / flesc, with one or more slashes or ‘twigs’ protruding from or across the ‘trunk’. It was read vertically, from bottom to top, “like climbing a tree”.
The Ogham is dated as early as the 1st Century and was used primarily to write on mostly wood and stone, and based on a tradition of ascribing the name of trees to individual characters. |
